GUMMY CANDIES & CHOCOLATE COVERED RAISINS
-high sugar content
-stick to teeth
-prolonged exposure to sugar
CHEWING ICE CUBES
-can break teeth
-too hard to chew
BREAD
-saliva when chewing breaks down starch into sugar
SOFT DRINKS
-contain large amounts of sugar
-very acidic
-fruit juices can also contain large amounts if sugar
POPCORN
-kernels get sick between teeth
-can cause plaque buildup
FRUIT
-lemons
-limes
-pomegranate
-grapes
-pineapple
