We understand that people get sick. It may be difficult to know whether to cancel your appointment or not ?
Here are some guidelines
Ask yourself "How sick am I ".
Will I be able to sit through the appointment ?
Is your illness causes discomfort or pain?
If you are contagious , have the flu or other virus , It may be best to reschedule .
Cancelling My Dentist Appointment
Whether you have a dental emergency , dental treatment or your getting a routine checkup, and cleaning we recommend that patients only cancel an appointment in the event of an emergency (sickness included).
While we understand the need to cancel at times, we do urge you to keep your appointment to avoid any unnecessary cancellation fees. Plus, rescheduling appointments may take time, depending on availability.
Cancellation of an appointment
Although we understand that things happen and schedules do change we ask that you provide us with at least 48 hours’ notice for any appointment changes. Missed appointments prevent us from scheduling another patient that could benefit from our services. We schedule individual time with each patient to allow us to deliver the quality, personal care that every patient deserves.
We do offer a text and email reminder service 48hrs prior to your appointment, if you would like to arrange this then please ask our reception team who will be happy to set this up for you.
Stay healthy and we will see you soon !!
